All Data Hasher settings are configured per-portal from the app's Settings page.

General

Data Hasher is designed to work out of the box. All hashing options (algorithm, output format, separator, and field selection) are configured directly on each workflow action, not at the app level. This means you can use different settings for different workflows without any conflicts.

The Settings page provides a single option for portal-level configuration:

Configuring Hashing Options

Hashing options are set per action inside the HubSpot workflow editor rather than on this Settings page. When you add a Hash Data action to a workflow, you choose:

  • Which property to hash
  • Which algorithm to use
  • The output format
  • An optional second property and separator
